RAZZ POKER RULES

There are many different interesting and different poker games that many players learn and take part in in order to build up there skill base. One quite odd version of a poker game is Razz. Razz is essentially known to be more or less completely similar to that of 7 Card Stud. The rules and the setup are pretty much the same; the only difference is what makes a winning hand. For instance Razz is considered a low game because the winning hand is the hand that has the lowest value. This basically in turn means that the player with the worst possible hand is the winner of the pot. Straights and flushes dont count as a winning hand, so if a player has the best hand possible they in turn have a very low straight which does not count as a winning hand in this particular game. The rules of this game mostly follow in accordance with this one major rule of having the worst hand to win. This effectively means that hands are evaluated from the highest card down and if two players end with a similar worse hand then the winning pot is split between them.

Razz may be considered a lot easier to win, as getting the worse hand is what many players do not want to achieve in other poker games. However whatever way you look at it this way of playing simply means that players will still being using the same psychology and practicality as any other poker game in order to ensure players think they have a winning worst hand.

The aim of this poker game and many others is to win as many chips as you possibly can. So when one hand is finished and the pot has been one another hand is dealt and so on. Winning more and more chips ensures that a player can continue to bluff and bet and/or raise to however much they want in order to win a larger pot the next time round. This can in turn make a successful winner extremely wealthy and very happy indeed.
